Opioid Treatment

SouthLight operates medically assisted treatment programs for narcotic addicts. Methadone is used as replacement medication for opioids. SouthLight started the Raleigh program over 30 years ago and it continues to expand. Law-enforcement values the methadone program as an effective strategy to reduce crime. It also reduces the spread of HIV and sexually transmitted diseases.
