Youth Prevention

Youth PreventionSouthLight's youth prevention services provide both onsite and in the community to youth and their families who are at increased risk for developing substance abuse problems. In addition, our services have a Speaker's Bureau or Education component, that consist in presentation series designed to meet the needs of diverse groups and not only address Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, but also social issues in the community that we serve.

We work in conjunction with other community agencies such as The Boys and Girl Club, The Teen Center, Mary Phillips High School etc. This service is provided to youth attending existing faith and community based youth serving organizations in Wake County at no cost.
