Capital Campaign

In 2022, SouthLight launched a $3.5 million capital campaign to pay for the renovation of our outpatient treatment center, where 500 clients receive treatment every day. To date, we have raised $2,290,000 – or 65% of our total campaign goal.

The comprehensive, three-phase renovation will transform our center into a modern client-centered behavioral health facility with more counseling rooms, medical spaces, an expanded resource center, and an on-site pharmacy.

Improvement Detail

+ New Drop-In Center

At our new Drop-In Center, active clients will access case management services from Peer Support Specialists as well as a computer work station, a lending library, a charging station, a coffee café, and a client supply pantry that includes hygiene kits, clothes, and non-perishable food items.

+ Expanded Central Reception Area

The expanded Central Reception Area, where clients check in to receive services and assessments, feature charging stations, televisions, and a play-area for children. Centralizing the building’s point of entry will streamline service accessibility, increase safety and security for clients and staff, enable us to offer greater access for individuals seeking walk-in services, and allow space for community partners to provide services on site.

+ Larger Multi-Use Spaces

SouthLight will double the number of larger Multi-Use Spaces equipped to host socially-distanced, in-person treatment groups as well as hybrid groups via A/V setup. These spaces will also serve as conference rooms and training center for staff and community partners. The renovation will increase total multi-use spaces from 3 to 6.

+ Larger Individual Treatment Space

SouthLight will increase the number of larger Individual Treatment Spaces equipped to host socially-distanced, in-person individual therapy and telehealth sessions. These spaces will double as individual work spaces for SouthLight team members. The renovation will increase total individual treatment spaces from 12 to 20.

+ Outdoor Covered Pavilion

The Outdoor Covered Pavilion will have a classroom-like setting to host in-person group therapy, life skill classes, team gatherings and celebrations of success.
