Intern program suspended;

fall applications contingent

on reopening

As of May 8, 2020, SouthLight is encouraging applicants to apply for the fall, but the internship program will be contingent on the opening of in-person operations.

Southlight is working to balance mitigating the spread of COVID-19, to our clients, the staff and the internship program, while also providing essential treatment services.

In accordance with the CDC and state recommendations, SouthLight is committed to social distancing and decreasing the volume of people at SouthLight at any given time.

Therefore, the SouthLight intern program is suspended starting Tuesday, March 17.

As soon as it is safe to do so, following protocols from the CDC and NCDHHS, Southlight will continue to provide internship placements. We will work with your students and make every effort to help them complete their requirements.
