Recovery is one of the most difficult things I’ve done, and also the most rewarding.
As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Maxx Dempsey sees first-hand how people are struggling to battle their addictions and mental health issues during COVID-19.
“When I finally did get sober, I wanted to give back to the community, and the best way for me to do that was to get into Peer Support,” shares Maxx. SouthLight offered a bridge of hope.
