We walk alongside you on your recovery journey

Certified Peer Support Specialists with shared lived experiences guide and support individuals on their unique recovery journey. They assist individuals by modeling recovery values to encourage wellness and empower individuals to meet their goals.

How Does it Work?

We provide assistance through one-on-one scheduled services that promote recovery, self-determination, self-advocacy, engagement in self-care and wellness, and enhancement of community living skills.  We assist individuals with setting recovery goals, developing recovery action plans, and solving problems directly related to recovery such as:

  • Finding housing
  • Developing a natural support system
  • Finding new uses of spare time
  • Improving job skills

Locations:

  • Services available in Wake, Durham, Johnston and Wilson counties

More Information

  • Care for: Adults with mental health and/or substance use diagnosis
  • Ages: 18 & Up
  • Duration: Averages about one year
  • Insurances: Medicaid
